Change.Org Finally Drops Two Anti-Teacher Educational “Deform” Groups

I just discovered that Change.Org has dropped two groups set up by two of the highest-profile anti-teacher, pro-the-typical-pro-billionaire educational DEforms agenda people around today: Joshua Edelman and Michelle Rhee. I don’t have any brand-new reporting on this, but I will refer you to The Huffington Post and perhaps another source or two. However, apparently HP has made MR into one of their major educational bloggers.  :-(

  1. However, apparently HP has made MR into one of their major educational bloggers. 😦

There’s a reason why HuffPo is becoming ever more irrelevant in the greater scheme of things. Arianna took a great model, leveraged herself into having an inflated importance to many a political controversy, then shot herself in the foot by hiring people with questionable (and in some cases, simply false::cough, Rhee, cough::) credentials to bloviate on subjects in which they have no true expertise. 😀

  2. I’m glad that Change.org has dropped Students First. It really bothered me when I started getting emails to sign petitions to “help” students and they were from the Michelle Rhee org.
