  1. What’s striking to me in reading this and your research that showed Rhee could not have made the gains she claimed in her time in Baltimore is that it is the same thing–inaccurate data from beginning to end, but cleverly disguised. And, I must add, it is just like the claims of public education’s so-called failure. If public education were truly such a failure, how did our nation become “great?” I’d like to know! How did we get to the moon, find cures for so many diseases, prevail in two world wars, maintain a democratic republic for over two hundred years, and all the other things that so many people risk their lives to come here for?
