A teacher who goes by “Pensive Sloth” has written some rather amusing New Years resolutions over the years. I think they will bring a smile to the lips of almost any experienced classroom teacher. Here are a few of them.

And even though I’m not a teacher I resolve not to throw anything at anyone who uses the word “collaboration,” especially when its simpler cousin, working together, will do just fine! And let’s drop “achievement gap” too while we’re at it!
