How Dutch Schools are Re-Opening

Schools in The Netherlands are opening back up with no social distancing for the littlest students. A Dutch writer describes the details at Larry Cuban’s site. She says one ingredient for success with younger kids was bubbles.

I hope it all works.

  1. I am imagining bubbles large enough to hold a child like the giant beach ball bubbles people can get inside and roll around in. If those bubbles had air filters, that might work but those bubbles with one kid in each bubble are going to take up a lot of room.

And what happens if a kid gets motion sickness inside his or her bubble and they barf? Do they get to move to a fresh, clean bubble in a clean room before they roll back to class?

    • I do not think they are talking about bubbles as big as that!
