I always felt that it was a way to send tax dollars to political contributors. It also helped the agenda of the private school owners to find additional funding and increase their student counts. In FL they keep changing the passing scores and tests. Teachers can never prepare students properly. It’s basically a scam and not about student learning.

To know his students that well, he must have small class loads or an incredible memory.
Imagine learning that much about each of your students with six classes and more than 200 students, 34 or more a class. That’s what I dealt with for all but a couple of the 30 years I was a public school teacher.
